GRASP

Risk Assessment in Social Practices

GRASP is an additional module to GLOBALG.A.P. that takes social criteria into account. If a company certified by LACON to GLOBALG.A.P. also requires the GRASP module (GLOBALG.A.P. Risk Assessment in Social Practice), it can be applied for as part of a combined audit.

The GRASP module mainly deals with aspects of “social practice” that concern the workforce employed by a company. How are complaints handled? Are workers aware of their rights? Are minimum wages and working hours respected? These are just a few examples. GRASP is only possible in countries where there is a national interpretation.
